What is this?
BrowneGuesser is a friendly score-prediction game for the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage. Enter your predicted score for every one of the 72 group-stage matches, save your predictions, then export and share them with everyone else before the tournament kicks off.
How to play
- Go to the Predict page.
- Enter a score for the home team and away team for each match.
- Hit Save — your predictions are stored in your browser.
- When you're done, hit Export & Share to download a read-only HTML file with your predictions baked in.
- Send that file to everyone else so they can compare.
Scoring (suggested)
There's no automatic scoring yet — compare exports manually, or agree on a points system with your group. A common approach:
- 3 pts — correct result (win / draw / loss)
- 1 pt — correct goal difference
- 1 pt — correct score for one team
- Bonus 1 pt — exact scoreline
Will my predictions be saved?
Yes — in your browser only. Predictions are stored in
localStorage on your device. They survive page refreshes but
are private to you and won't transfer if you switch browsers or devices.
Use Export & Share to create a portable copy.
